Join your neighbors for FREE concerts April 10th, 17th, and 24th

CINCINNATI, OH (April 10, 2025) – Tonight’s Tunes & Blooms concert at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is ON!  Weather forced cancellation last week, but the bands and blooms are ready to take the stage at  6 p.m. this evening! Tunes & Blooms concert series offers FREE, family-friendly entertainment in a beautiful setting! The fun happens every Thursday night in April, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

“Tunes & Blooms is a unique opportunity to experience our world-renowned gardens while enjoying a fantastic lineup of local musicians, said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

Gina and Johnny will be on the Vine St. Village stage tonight, and Linus Tate Unplugged will play in The Grove area (near Elephant Trek). Entry to the Zoo is free starting at 5 p.m.

Next week’s concert lineup includes The Laurelys and Cincinnati Zoo’s very own elephant manager Cecil Jackson backed by his band, Dry Ridge. My Brother’s Keeper and ZOO will perform on April 24.  The Zoo’s Earth Day Celebration will also take place that night.

While you’re here, check out the beautifully hand-painted rain barrels displayed on the Swan Lake bridge. If one catches your eye, bid on it! It will brighten your backyard and is good for the environment! The online rain barrel auction is happening now – April 25. Proceeds support the Cincinnati Zoo and Save Local Waters conservation initiatives.

Tunes & Blooms is a Zero Waste Event. Please avoid bringing any single-use disposable items into the Zoo.

Zoo Blooms, sponsored by Delta Dental, brings a magnificent explosion of color to the Zoo that includes one of the largest tulip displays in the Midwest. Dubbed “Tulip Mania,” Zoo Blooms also features more than one million daffodils, hyacinths, flowering trees, shrubs, and other spring bulbs.

The Zoo opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. daily.  Members get Early Entry and are welcome to enter the Zoo at 9 a.m. Memberships are on sale now, so join the Zoo at a discounted price and enjoy all the perks.
