Your Wild Summer Adventure Starts this Weekend 

CINCINNATI, OH (May 22, 2026) – Summer Adventure, presented by Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers, at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden kicks off today with the return of the Ameritas Wings of Wonder! Guests can also see the Bobcat Enterprises Inc. Cheetah Encounter, and the Grippo’s Barnyard Bonanza this summer. As a thank you for your service, members of the military are invited to enter the Zoo for free on Monday, May 25, and can be among the first to sample the summer fun.

 “Summer is one of the most exciting times at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Dave Jenike. “Animals are active, gardens are in full bloom, and there’s something new to discover every day. There are so many opportunities for guests to explore nature, learn, and have fun together.” 

The carousel and train are running throughout the day and are included in Gold, Platinum, and Donor memberships. Unlimited rides can also be purchased with general admission.  Zoo Babies, presented by General Electric Credit Union, continues through the end of May.   

The Zoo opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Members get Early Entry and are welcome to enter the Zoo at 9 a.m. Download the mobile app featuring a GPS-enabled digital map to find the babies, food locations, and to receive special announcements. You can even create your own itinerary!
