 Cincinnati Zoo Earns Top Spots in Best Zoo and Best Botanical Garden Contests 

USA TODAY poll names Cincinnati Zoo #1 and its botanical garden #2 in USA  

CINCINNATI, OH (June 3, 2022) – USA TODAY’s 10Best editors announced today that Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden once again took the top spot in the Best Zoo category in its 2022 Readers’ Choice poll! It also earned the number two spot in the 10Best Botanical Garden category. 

“It’s wonderful to be recognized for being a great Zoo AND a great Botanical Garden,” said Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden director Thane Maynard. “The Zoo is a special place to Cincinnatians and visitors alike, and we want to thank everyone who voted for us in both categories.”
