Cincinnati Zoo Honors Moms this Sunday with Free Admission
CINCINNATI, OH (May 11, 2023) – The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is offering moms FREE admission this Sunday, May 14. Moms will also receive free digital photos from the Zoo Babies photo station and a collectible Zoo Babies poster (one per family), and kids will get bubble wands, courtesy of General Electric Credit Union. *
“The Zoo is a great place to spend Mother’s Day with the special women in your life,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “May is Zoo Babies month, so you can visit all sorts of animal moms and their babies. If you haven’t seen baby hippo Fritz yet, this is a great opportunity to see the cutest 600-lb baby around.”
In addition to making the rounds to see the babies, be sure to ride the Zoo’s new electric train and carousel! Use the Zoo’s interactive map app to get walking directions to and from one adventure to the next.
Gift idea: New sculpture of Bibi and Fritz by artist Tom Tsuchiya is now available for preorder! If it doesn’t arrive by Mother’s Day, just give mom the good news that it’s on the way!
The Zoo opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Members get Early Entry and are welcome to enter the Zoo at 9 a.m. Zoo Babies runs through the end of May.
DID YOU KNOW…. You pay more than $10 less per ticket, on select days, when you purchase tickets online! That’s a $40 savings for a family of 4!
