Hamilton County Residents Half-Price Admission This Weekend
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is offering Hamilton County residents half-price admission August 23 through August 25.
“We appreciate the support that we receive from Hamilton County residents and are happy to offer deeply discounted tickets as a ‘thank you” for that,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “The Zoo is for everyone, and we want to make it easier for everyone to get inspired by wildlife.”
Some must-sees include Ameritas Wings of Wonder (tip: arrive early to see bird trainer Bob in action), the Cheetah Encounter, and the Barnyard Bonanza. Fiona, Fritz, and the rest of the bloat will be splashing in Hippo Cove (find out how you can meet them!!), and there are plenty of great indoor animal habitats if you’re looking for a place to cool off.
Tickets for Hamilton County Appreciation Days, brought to you by Hamilton County, can be purchased online in advance. A valid Hamilton County photo ID will be checked upon entry.
The Zoo opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. Members get Early Entry and are welcome to enter the Zoo at 9 a.m.
