Botanic Gardens Micropropagation News was published from 1990 to 1998 by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. It was edited by Dr. Michael Fay with the goal of publishing “articles on micropropagation work in botanic gardens or similar work on rare and endangered species in similar institutes.”  It was recognized that such work can be difficult to publish in traditional journals because the subject species are not economically important, and it may be difficult to provide replicated trials because of limitations on the material available for study.  However, this work could be of great interest to others also working with rare and endangered species.
